The Ironton Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, or DORA, allows patrons of one of the participating restaurants, pubs, and entertainment venues to carry up to 16 oz. of an open alcoholic beverage in a designated cup exempt from certain open container provisions as laid out in Ohio Revised Code Section 4301.82.

This open container exemption only applies to beverages served in the designated cups, inside the designated area, and during the designated times. DORA cups can only be purchased from participating businesses within the DORA boundary and must be disposed of before leaving the designated area.

Adult beverages must be in a designated DORA cup while being carried and consumed outdoors and remain inside the DORA boundary.

Permitted DORA Hours:

Monday – Saturday 10am – 11pm
Sunday 1pm – 9pm
