ORDINANCE NO. 21-01
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR HEALTH
INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF IRONTON
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS: The City of Ironton has received notice of a favorable recommendation for health insurance coverage for the period of February 1, 2021 through January 31, 2022, and
WHEREAS: It is the desire of Council to maintain health insurance coverage for all full-time city employees.
NOW THEREFORE, it be Ordained: by the Council of the City of Ironton, State of Ohio:
SECTION 1:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Brown Raybourn and Associates for ANTHEM for the period of February 1, 2021 — January 31, 2022.
SECTION 2:
This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency necessary for the public health, safety and welfare.
